About The Position

The Aquatics Director oversees the lifeguard team, leads certification and training courses, manages daily aquatic center operations, and supports high-quality aquatic programs and experiences. The role helps create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for members and program participants. The organization is hiring for both branches; this is an internal-only posting.

Requirements

• Two or more years of supervisory experience in an aquatic program and/or fitness program.
• First Aid/CPR/AED Certified for the Professional Rescuer.
• Certified Lifeguard.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in recreation, fitness, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered instead of a bachelor's degree.
