About The Position

Chipotle’s Apprentices assist with the day-to-day operations of a restaurant while developing the skills needed to grow into a General Manager role. The position involves learning to run a strong business, hiring and training team members, and delivering a guest-focused experience. Apprentices act as the leader on duty and help ensure efficient service, accurate orders, restaurant cleanliness, food safety, and compliance with operational standards.

The role includes a standard 50-hour workweek, with applicable overtime paid, and evening and weekend shifts. The work takes place in a fast-paced kitchen and customer-facing restaurant environment, with varied temperatures, food preparation and tasting, and regular communication with team members and customers.

• Ability to work around varied temperatures, taste and prepare food, and communicate with the Chipotle team and customers.

Nice To Haves

• Previous restaurant management experience, including scheduling, P&L management, food safety, sales forecasting, and recruiting.

Responsibilities

• Uphold high standards of hospitality and provide a guest-focused experience.
• Act as the leader on duty, ensuring speed of service, order accuracy, and positive guest experiences.
• Train and develop crew members using Chipotle’s training tools and resources.
• Ensure digital orders are delivered accurately and on time.
• Learn and assist with day-to-day restaurant operations, including scheduling, P&L management, sales forecasting, recruiting, and interviewing.
• Keep the dining room clean and the restaurant guest-ready.
• Uphold food safety, operational, and compliance standards.
