About The Position
An employee in this role performs work as an assistant to, or under the general direction of, employees in higher-rated classifications within the Electric Metering Department while training for Technician, Meter I. To gain experience for advancement, the employee may work alone or under direct supervision on jobs for which they have been trained and instructed. The employee’s educational and general qualifications must indicate the capability to attain Technician I status. Applicants must demonstrate these qualifications by passing a test with a score of 75% or better.
Requirements
- Educational and general qualifications indicating the capability to attain Technician I status.
- Pass a qualification test with a score of 75% or better.
- Applicants must not require immigration sponsorship, including additional or permanent work authorization, now or in the future, to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Assist employees in higher-rated classifications or work under their general direction within the Electric Metering Department.
