About The Position
The Apprentice, Technician, Meter works in the Electric Metering Department as an assistant to, or under the general direction of, employees in higher-rated classifications while training for Technician, Meter I. To gain experience for advancement, the employee may work alone or under direct supervision on jobs for which they have been trained and instructed. The employee’s educational and general qualifications must indicate the ability to attain Technician I status. Applicants must demonstrate these qualifications by passing a test with a score of 75% or better. NV Energy is an energy company serving 1.3 million electricity customers across Nevada and providing natural gas to more than 155,000 citizens in the Reno-Sparks area. Requirements
