About The Position

Warby Parker is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Optician to join its in-house optical team. In this role, you will learn from a licensed optician in licensed states or a certified optician in non-licensed states, build expertise in eyewear and the brand, and help customers find glasses that fit their prescription needs, personal style, and lifestyle. You will provide exceptional customer service, learn technical optical skills, and collaborate with your team on effective sales and service practices. Responsibilities

Learn from a licensed or certified optician how to meet customers’ eyewear needs.
Learn to take and record measurements and to adjust and fit eyewear accurately.
Learn to verify that finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements and requests.
Develop the ability to explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
Work with the team to ensure customers receive exceptional service.
Help customers select frames and lenses based on prescription needs, fit, personal style, and lifestyle.
Collaborate with the team to develop sales and customer-service best practices that can be implemented throughout the organization.
Represent the Warby Parker brand and educate others about its values and mission.
