About The Position

Chipotle is growing rapidly and is looking for leaders to grow with them. The Apprentice Manager role is designed for individuals who have a strong desire to become General Managers by assisting in the day-to-day operations of Chipotle restaurants. Apprentices will learn essential business management skills, including hiring and training staff, and delivering an exceptional guest experience, all while contributing to Chipotle's mission of making better food accessible to everyone.

Requirements

A "Guest Obsessed" passion for hospitality.
Friendly and enthusiastic attitude.
Passion for growth with a desire to learn the General Manager position.
Genuine enthusiasm for people development and leading others.
Previous restaurant management experience preferred, including scheduling, P&L management, food safety, sales forecasting, scheduling, and recruiting.
Ability to stand and walk around the restaurant for 10 hours a day.
Ability to lift 50lbs./25kgs.
Ability to work around varied temperatures.
Ability to taste and prepare food.
Strong communication skills with the Chipotle team and customers.

Responsibilities

Uphold top-notch standards of excellence and hospitality as a "Guest Obsessed" team member.
Act as the leader on duty, ensuring speed of service, accuracy, and a positive guest experience.
Train and develop crew members utilizing Chipotle’s training tools and resources.
Ensure digital orders are delivered accurately and on time.
Learn to manage the day-to-day operational business of the restaurant, including scheduling, P&L management, sales forecasting, and recruiting/interviewing.
Maintain a clean dining room and ensure the restaurant is always guest-ready.
Uphold food safety, operational, and compliance standards.
