About The Position

Chipotle’s Apprentice General Managers assist with the day-to-day operations of a restaurant while learning to grow into a General Manager role. They help run a strong business, hire and train employees, and deliver a guest-focused experience. The role includes leading restaurant operations while on duty and learning business functions such as scheduling, profit and loss management, sales forecasting, recruiting, and interviewing. Apprentices work a standard 50-hour workweek, including evening and weekend shifts; applicable overtime is paid.

Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen, interact with customers, work around varied temperatures, taste and prepare food, and communicate strongly with team members and customers.

Nice To Haves

Previous restaurant management experience, including scheduling, P&L management, food safety, sales forecasting, and recruiting.

Responsibilities

Uphold high standards of hospitality and provide a guest-focused experience.
Act as the leader on duty, ensuring speed of service, order accuracy, and positive guest experiences.
Train and develop crew members using Chipotle’s training tools and resources.
Ensure digital orders are delivered accurately and on time.
Learn and help run daily restaurant operations, including creating and managing schedules, P&L management, sales forecasting, recruiting, and interviewing.
Keep the dining room clean and the restaurant guest-ready.
Uphold food safety, operational, and compliance standards.
