About The Position

Chipotle’s Apprentice General Managers assist with the day-to-day operations of a restaurant while learning to grow into a General Manager role. They help run a strong business, hire and train people, and deliver a guest-focused experience. The role involves leading restaurant operations, developing crew members, and upholding hospitality, food safety, operational, and compliance standards. The position includes a standard 50-hour workweek with applicable overtime paid, including evening and weekend shifts. The physical work environment is a fast-paced kitchen and customer-facing restaurant setting.

Ability to work around varied temperatures, taste and prepare food, and communicate effectively with the Chipotle team and customers.

Responsibilities

Uphold high standards of hospitality and provide a guest-focused experience.
Act as the leader on duty, ensuring speed of service, order accuracy, and positive guest experiences.
Train and develop crew members using Chipotle’s training tools and resources.
Ensure digital orders are delivered accurately and on time.
Learn and manage day-to-day restaurant operations, including scheduling, P&L management, sales forecasting, recruiting, and interviewing.
Keep the dining room clean and the restaurant guest-ready.
Uphold food safety, operational, and compliance standards.
