About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking an entry-level Apprentice Jeweler to join its Field Design & Service Center Team. The role provides a training pathway from apprentice to Bench Jeweler, with opportunities to develop skills and advance in the company’s promote-from-within environment. The Design & Service Center Team focuses on delivering a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.

The apprentice learns the business from the ground up through administrative and customer-service responsibilities, including interacting with stores and customers, completing clerical tasks, photographing jewelry for intake and tracking, and learning jewelry repair basics such as polishing and quality control. A full training program and Jeweler Certification classes support the development of bench skills. Candidates with a passion and desire to learn the trade are considered; prior jewelry or repair knowledge is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Customer-service orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
• High standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively with time-management skills.
• Varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Full-time work consists of a 40-hour work week, with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Some knowledge of jewelry or jewelry repair/design is preferred but not required.
• Passion and desire to learn the jeweler trade.

Responsibilities
