About The Position

The Sewing Labs is recruiting external candidates for its Sewing Salon Training Program, which prepares graduates to pursue a registered apprenticeship and become professional certified Industrial Sewing Machine Operators. The program includes 23 weeks of tuition-free training (a stated value of $5,000), with a commitment of seven hours per week across two sessions. Training cohorts are scheduled to begin in December 2026. After training, participants must complete 2,000 hours of paid on-the-job apprenticeship with a local partner employer. Requirements
