About The Position

Rogall + Co. is hiring Apprentice Carpenters in California's Central Coast region. No carpentry experience is required; the company provides paid, hands-on training and a path to advance to Carpenter. Apprentices work alongside skilled carpenters and learn to diagnose and repair damage to coastal homes caused by sun, salt air, water, and insects. The work includes wood repair, deck and siding restoration, and paint-related projects.

Requirements

• Dependability and willingness to learn; no carpentry experience is necessary.
• Good with hands and eager to build practical skills.
• Comfortable with physical, outdoor work.
• Able to lift and carry more than 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Available for daytime jobsite hours, Monday through Friday.
• Provide two references who can be contacted, such as a past employer, teacher, coach, or mentor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with wood damage repair, deck restoration, siding, and trim work.
• Learn to measure, cut, and install materials with precision.
• Handle jobsite setup, material preparation, and cleanup.
• Learn the company's science-based approach to protecting Central Coast homes.
• Develop skills toward becoming a full Carpenter.
