Application Support Specialist
About The Position
Trimble is seeking an Application Support Specialist to support customers using its MEP estimating software, including AutoBid, Accubid, and Estimation Desktop. The role helps mechanical and electrical professionals set up, configure, implement, and use the products, while resolving technical issues and supporting customer success through technical assistance and AI-powered tools. The position is based in Knoxville, Tennessee; Westminster, Colorado; or Lake Oswego, Oregon, with other Trimble offices potentially considered. The work arrangement is on-site four days per week and remote one day per week, during Monday–Friday business hours. Travel is not required.
Requirements
- Demonstrated critical-thinking and troubleshooting skills with standard computer systems and logic-driven issue resolution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to work autonomously in fast-paced or time-critical environments.
- Ability to navigate and use AI-powered support tools such as chatbots and virtual assistants.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the construction industry, particularly with electrical and mechanical trades.
- One to three years of experience in technical customer support or call center environments.
- Hands-on familiarity with Accubid software products.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary support liaison for customers using AutoBid, Accubid, and Estimation Desktop, assisting with software setup, configuration, implementation, and usage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues through telephone, email, live chat, and web-based support channels.
- Explain technical concepts clearly to end users with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Collaborate with support, development, and product teams to improve application quality and customer experience.
