About The Position

The Application Engineer C supports customers, sales, and internal teams by identifying, evaluating, and implementing technical solutions that meet customer requirements. The role works under the guidance of the application engineering manager or team leader and is part of NSK Corporation’s Automotive Business Unit. Responsibilities include customer technical support, engineering project support, documentation, and collaboration to investigate technical issues and develop corrective solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
Two to five years of position-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain technical relationships with customers.
Work with sales to identify new project and product opportunities with customers.
Support review of customer specifications, drawings, technical data, and other documentation to ensure requirements are understood.
Coordinate customer test support and test return analysis.
Provide technical support to internal departments, including sales, engineering, quality, and manufacturing.
Support engineering projects by gathering data, conducting research, analyzing results, and documenting findings.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other application-related documentation.
Collaborate with managers, senior engineers, and subject matter experts to investigate technical issues and develop corrective solutions.
Develop and maintain knowledge of company products, manufacturing processes, industry standards, and customer applications.
Participate in customer meetings and technical discussions.
Support obtaining technical approval for process changes, including VA/VE.
Maintain accurate project records and communicate project status, findings, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
Perform other duties as assigned.
