About The Position

Midwest Center for Youth and Families is seeking caring and compassionate Behavioral Health Workers to join our clinical teams! Available Hours: 20 hours/week Midwest Center for Youth and Families (a subsidiary of UHS) has been in operation since 1997, serving youth across the country that are in need of psychiatric treatment for variety of mental health issues. The Midwest Center is a respected healthcare provider, fully accredited, 74-bed private, residential treatment facility with locations in Valparaiso and Kouts, IN. We are dedicated to care of the hearts and minds of our patients with compassion and superior quality behavioral healthcare services through our full-immersion Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program for children and adolescents ages 10 - 18 who struggle with emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges. The Patriot Support Program at Midwest Center offers specialized treatment designed to address the behavioral health needs and challenges of the children of active-duty military, reserve, and national guard members. Website: https://midwest-center.com/ Position Summary: The Application Analyst functions as the liaison between Midwest Center and UHS Corporate IT and provides IT services for all Midwest Center employees. Support includes Microsoft Windows PC, printers, networking equipment, phone systems, access controls, etc. Must resolve and troubleshoot any malfunctions involved with the above equipment to ensure all end users and business needs are met.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Must be 21 years old

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer one year of experience working in a psychiatric setting with patients aged 10 -18yrs.

Responsibilities

  • serve as the facility liaison with Corporate IT
  • provide PC network support for the user community
  • function as the help desk for the facility
  • maintain software/hardware inventories
  • perform routine maintenance of PC equipment
  • provide first level of support for phone systems and closed circuit television systems
  • managers external IT vendors to solve IT issues
  • develop and maintain procedures to ensure adequate proof of licenses for all software in use
  • regularly interface with vendors to resolve problems, respond to staff inquiries
