Requirements

Responsibilities

Install gas or electric appliances, including dishwashers and ovens.
Install garage door motors and systems.
Repair appliances, including washers and refrigerators.
Use torches and other tools as necessary.
Work with customers while installing and repairing appliances and systems.
Test appliances and systems for leaks and other problems.
Analyze problems and identify appropriate tools and materials for repairs.
Choose materials based on budget, location, and intended use.
Follow health and safety standards and comply with applicable codes.
Send reports to customer service representatives documenting problems and actions taken.
Inspect systems and appliances.
Communicate productively with customers and coworkers.
