About The Position

Mr. Appliance is hiring an Appliance Repair Technician to provide high-quality maintenance and repair services for customers’ home appliances. The role focuses on diagnosing and fixing appliances, explaining recommended services and costs to customers, and delivering a reliable, efficient, first-time-quality customer experience. The company offers ongoing paid training to help technicians develop their skills and advance from Apprentice to Master Technician.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, including empathy.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Efficiency in completing repairs and managing time.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Attention to detail in vehicle organization, customer information, and reports.
• Willingness to pursue regular training and expand knowledge and skills.

Nice To Haves

• EPA Type 1 or Universal CFC Certification is desirable.
• One or more years of appliance repair experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair home appliances and equipment.
• Provide cost estimates for repairs.
• Communicate with customers so they understand the services needed.
• Order parts and use company materials efficiently.
• Collect payment for work performed.
• Complete customer information and reports with attention to detail.
• Keep the work vehicle clean and organized.
• Participate in ongoing training and research new equipment.
