About The Position
Mr. Appliance is looking for Appliance Repair Technicians who are excited about figuring out how things work, enjoy troubleshooting, and want to improve the home life of families in their community. This role offers the opportunity to work with a team you like, have fun, and protect your free time. The company provides ongoing training to help technicians succeed. As an Appliance Repair Technician, you are a key component in providing excellent customer service by delivering high-quality maintenance services for customer appliances.
Requirements
- Exceptional Customer Service skills, including empathy and the ability to deliver a great customer experience.
- Ability to accurately diagnose and solve problems.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to problem solve to ensure customer satisfaction and correct repairs.
- Efficiency in time management and speed of repair completion.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Pride in attention to detail, including keeping work vehicle clean and organized, and completing customer information and reports accurately.
- Willingness to research new equipment and take advantage of training opportunities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- EPA Type 1 or Universal CFC Certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience of one year or more in appliance repair is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair home appliances and equipment.
- Provide cost estimates for repairs.
- Effectively communicate with the customer to ensure they understand the services needed.
- Order parts and ensure efficient use of company materials.
- Collect payment for work performed.
