About The Position

The Appliance Repair Technician provides in-home appliance service as a Whirlpool Brand Specialist. Technicians dispatch directly from home in a company-provided vehicle, with no office check-ins required. The role offers hourly compensation of $20–$40+ plus performance bonuses and incentives. Requirements

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with refrigeration sealed system repair.
• Customer-focused mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily routes efficiently.
• Willingness to continue learning and growing within the industry.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Appliance repair experience is preferred.
• HVAC, electrical, or mechanical experience is also considered.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding in-home service experiences for customers.
• Diagnose and repair major household appliances, including refrigerators, washers and dryers, gas and electric ranges, dishwashers, and microwave ovens.
• Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration sealed systems.
• Educate customers about repairs, maintenance, and recommendations.
• Use mobile technology to manage work orders in a paperless environment.
• Stay current with evolving appliance and smart-home technology.
• Complete ongoing technical and manufacturer training.
• Safely operate company vehicles and maintain a professional appearance.
• Consistently deliver a 5-star customer experience.
