About The Position

The Apparel Production Associate ensures quality production of apparel orders using direct-to-garment (DTG) and embroidery equipment. The role includes preparing apparel, operating and maintaining production machines, managing supplies and workflow, and working both independently and as part of a team. Experience in apparel printing or production is preferred but not required.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and similar documents.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic and calculate figures and amounts, including percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to written, oral, or diagram-based instructions and solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Basic knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems.
Time-management and organizational skills.
Oral and written communication skills.
Professionalism.
Ability to work at a predetermined schedule.

Responsibilities

Produce upcoming-week apparel orders using direct-to-garment and embroidery machines.
Perform daily machine maintenance to ensure production quality.
Unpack and organize apparel for production.
Operate the Kornit Atlas and learn appropriate dryer and curing settings.
Maintain accurate inventory of supplies to support ongoing production.
Contact Kornit service for technical or mechanical issues after other options have been exhausted.
Use computer programs for machine operation; download and send artwork to Atlas and embroidery machines.
Follow end-of-day procedures for all machines.
Use Melco software to operate embroidery machines and perform basic daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on embroidery machines.
Manage workflow and complete tasks on time.
Maintain a neat, organized workspace.
Communicate effectively with fellow employees and work toward shared goals in a team environment.
