About The Position

Gold Medal International is seeking a part-time Packaging Production Coordinator to provide final quality checks on packaging, test reports, and Top of Production (TOP) samples before products ship. The coordinator will also handle follow-up work that supports the Production Managers and helps keep orders moving. This hourly position reports to the Vice President of Sourcing and is based on site in the company’s New York City office, Tuesday through Thursday, for 24–30 hours per week. Additional hours may be available during peak production season. The role reviews test reports, care labels, packaging layouts, digital proofs, UPCs, and lot numbers for accuracy and consistency. It also includes tracking test reports in the WIP report, maintaining shipping-material samples, monitoring carton dimensions, preparing cost sheets and import documents, and assisting with inspection report approvals during peak season. Gold Medal International describes itself as a family-style company that values employee experience, customer service, workplace flexibility, and respectful relationships. The role offers hands-on experience working with an experienced Production team, an annual pay review, and support for continued learning.
