About The Position

Windsor Communities is seeking a Dual-Site Apartment Service Technician II for their Windsor Castle Hills and Windsor Metro West communities in Plano, TX. Windsor Castle Hills is a garden-style community with 430 apartment homes, and Windsor Metro West is a mid-rise community with 400 apartment homes. The ideal candidate will have intermediate competency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry. This role requires availability for a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours and weekend emergency response. Windsor Communities is recognized for its exceptional customer service, having received the 2025 Kingsley Excellence Award for Overall Customer Service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with multifamily residential, commercial or hotel maintenance
  • Familiarity with building safety systems including the fire systems (sprinklers/alarms)
  • Advanced knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools
  • Site specific certifications such as: EPA Type II preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date
  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of 90 days of start date
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, some weekend work and ability to participate in the on-call rotations

  • Intermediate competency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and apply preventative measures with apartment homes, common areas, mechanical rooms, plumbing, electrical and appliance areas.
  • Support the company’s values and cultures by providing exceptional service to teammates and residents.
  • Ability to use smart devices and property management software for maintaining accurate records and work order completion.
