Dual-Site Apartment Maintenance Technician II
About The Position
This role is for a Dual-Site Apartment Service Technician II, serving both Windsor West Plano (430 apartment homes) and Windsor Metro West (400 apartment homes) in Plano, TX. Successful candidates can come from various backgrounds including apartment maintenance, HVAC, general labor, construction, hotel, general building maintenance, and work order management. The position requires intermediate competency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry. The technician must be available for on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergency response. Windsor Communities has been recognized for its Overall Customer Service.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with multifamily residential, commercial or hotel maintenance
- Familiarity with building safety systems including the fire systems (sprinklers/alarms)
- Ability to use smart devices and property management software for maintaining accurate records and work order completion
- Advanced knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools
- Site specific certifications such as: EPA Type II preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, some weekend work and ability to participate in the on-call rotations

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and apply preventative measures with apartment homes, common areas, mechanical rooms, plumbing, electrical and appliance areas
