About The Position

The Dual-Site Apartment Service Tech II will be responsible for maintenance tasks at two communities: Windsor Castle Hills (a garden-style community with 430 apartment homes) and Windsor Metro West (a mid-rise community with 400 apartment homes) in Plano, TX. Successful candidates may come from backgrounds in apartment maintenance, HVAC, general labor, construction, hotel maintenance, general building maintenance, or work order management. The role requires intermediate competency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry. The technician must be available for an on-call schedule for after-hours and weekend emergency response. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with multifamily residential, commercial or hotel maintenance
  • Familiarity with building safety systems including the fire systems (sprinklers/alarms)
  • Ability to use smart devices and property management software for maintaining accurate records and work order completion
  • Advanced knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools
  • Site specific certifications such as: EPA Type II preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date
  • Site specific certifications such as: CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred or ability to become certified within 90 days of start date
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, some weekend work and ability to participate in the on-call rotations

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and apply preventative measures for apartment homes, common areas, mechanical rooms, plumbing, electrical, and appliance areas.
