About The Position

The Apartment Community Custodian is responsible for maintaining all common areas of the apartment community in a clean and attractive condition and preparing apartments between residents. This is an on-site, full-time position reporting to the Business Manager, with a Thursday-through-Monday schedule. The employee may also perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.

Responsibilities

Clean the rental office, recreation areas, pool, spa, exercise room, and restrooms, including trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, and interior and exterior window cleaning.
Maintain laundry rooms by removing trash, sweeping, mopping, and wiping down machines and surfaces.
Walk the property each morning to pick up litter and help ensure a clean, welcoming environment.
Clear leaves, debris, and cobwebs from building entryways and stairwells.
Sweep and blow off sidewalks, parking areas, and dumpster zones; move garbage bins to pickup locations on scheduled days.
Water landscaping daily as needed.
Assist with exterior painting, minor repairs, and routine pool and spa upkeep.
Clean and paint apartment interiors to prepare units for new residents.
Help maintain the community according to LPR’s cleanliness and quality standards.
Perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned.
