APAC Fed Sales

The Account Executive - APAC FED at Skydio will play a crucial role in expanding the company's business within government customers, particularly ministries of defense, across South Asia, Southeast Asia, and parts of East Asia. This role involves prospecting, understanding customer operations, and effectively demonstrating and deploying Skydio technology at scale. The successful candidate will navigate complex organizational structures, drive value for customers, and contribute to the growth of Skydio and the commercial UAV industry. With a focus on new business development, account strategy, and customer satisfaction, the Account Executive will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets and maintaining knowledge of UAS programs and technology initiatives.

• Identify new business development opportunities and convert them into stable customers
• Prepare and update account strategy and sales forecast
• Create a strategic plan to engage and create opportunities with high propensity accounts
• Build a pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets
• Develop a deep understanding of customer's business, workflows, and pain points
• Maintain knowledge of UAS programs, standards, guidelines, policies, and technology initiatives
• Actively support execution of the overall sales strategy and mentor others
• Coordinate with sales operations and customer success team to ensure customer milestones are met
• Gather and share competitive intelligence on competitor activity with marketing
• Share key customer insights and product needs with product management
• Provide effective demos and product training as necessary
• Have 8+ years of successful enterprise software, hardware, or SaaS sales experience to Ministries of Defense and other Government customers in Asia-Pacific
• Successfully manage and close complex deals with federal customers
• Have knowledge of government acquisition process, contracting vehicles, and structuring of contracts.

• 8+ years of successful enterprise software, hardware, or SaaS sales experience to Ministries of Defense and other Government customers in Asia-Pacific
• A history of successfully managing and closing complex deals through all phases of the deal cycle with federal customers
• Knowledge of government acquisition process, contracting vehicles, and structuring of hardware, software, and service contracts

• Competitive intelligence sharing with marketing
• Sharing customer insights and product needs with product management
• Effective demos and product training with customer success
• 8+ years of successful enterprise software, hardware, or SaaS sales experience
• Successfully managing and closing complex deals with federal customers
• Knowledge of government acquisition process, contracting vehicles, and structuring of contracts
• Knowledge and experience working on research and development projects
• Prior experience operating sUAS
• Experience using Salesforce, Google Suite, BGov, and GovWin
• Network of contacts among prospective customers in Asia Pacific
