About The Position

DISA Tech, Inc. is growing its finance team to support the company’s patented high-pressure slurry ablation technology and mineral processing work. The AP/AR Specialist will manage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable as the company scales, processing vendor activity related to equipment, materials, testing, and contractors, and handling customer invoicing, payments, and collections. The role works closely with the Senior Accountant and Controller and supports month-end close. The specialist will also help develop and improve finance processes as they are built out. Accounts payable duties include processing invoices from intake through coding, approvals, and payment runs; coding costs by project, department, and cost center; maintaining vendor records and controls; managing company card activity in Ramp; reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies; and supporting year-end 1099 preparation and filing. Accounts receivable duties include preparing customer invoices based on contracts, purchase orders, and project milestones; recording payments and maintaining customer records; monitoring aging and following up on past-due balances; resolving billing questions with project leads; and tracking and invoicing intercompany and related-party activity. The position also coordinates with operations and project teams to obtain approvals and documentation, prepares AP and AR aging reports, supports month-end accruals and reconciliations, gathers audit and internal control documentation, and recommends workflow improvements and better use of NetSuite and Ramp.
