About The Position

VCA Sawmill Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced part-time Kennel Assistant for its 70-run boarding facility. The hospital is renovating and plans to feature 10 exam rooms, two surgical suites, CT imaging services, and a physical therapy department. The facility cares for pets seven days a week and seeks candidates with flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. The role involves caring for boarded and hospitalized pets, maintaining the facility, and assisting doctors and technicians as needed. Requirements

• Experienced candidate.

Responsibilities

• Clean cages.
• Feed and care for dogs and cats.
• Walk dogs.
• Bathe dogs.
• Do laundry.
• Clean and maintain hospital premises.
• Assist doctors and technicians when necessary.
