Angel Academy Program Specialist

Angel•Provo, UT

About The Position

The Angel Leadership Academy is a 12-month leadership development program with two paths: one for Leaders and one for Team Members. The Academy's leaders design and teach the program, while this role is responsible for the operational aspects that make the program run smoothly. This includes managing the calendar, cohorts, materials, learning system, and tracking progress. The goal is to ensure leaders are prepared to teach, participants know what to expect, and Angel can monitor program completion and impact. The role requires turning leaders' outlines into finished materials, organizing content across the 12 months, preparing and distributing assignments, identifying gaps in materials, researching content, creating and summarizing feedback surveys, managing calendars and attendance, setting up sessions (room, technology, materials), maintaining the learning management system, drafting communications, ensuring material consistency, tracking participant progress, and organizing the program budget and vendor orders. The role may also involve coordinating other People & Culture trainings and events.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience supporting a training or development program inside a company, with many moving parts.
  • Experience producing polished materials, such as slide decks, guides or workbooks, from someone else's outline.
  • Experience managing calendars, rosters and logistics for groups of 20 or more.
  • Experience keeping accurate records in a spreadsheet or tracking system and reporting from them.
  • Strong skills in Google Workspace, especially Slides, Docs and Sheets.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in corporate leadership development or training design is strongly preferred, gained in a business setting.
  • Experience supporting a leadership development program for a company's leaders and team members.
  • Experience administering a learning management system.
  • Experience on a People & Culture, HR or learning and development team, ideally at a company headquarters or fast-growing company.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with Angel, the Angel Guild, and our body of work (films, series, and other projects).

Responsibilities

  • Turn the Academy leaders' outlines, notes and direction into finished slide decks, facilitator guides and participant workbooks.
  • Keep the Leader path and the Team Member path organized across the 12 months, so each session's materials build on the last.
  • Prepare the pre-work, follow-up and practice assignments the leaders design, and get them to participants on time.
  • Notice gaps, overlaps or unclear spots in the materials and raise them with the Academy's leaders.
  • Research examples, tools and source material when the leaders are building a new topic.
  • Build and send session feedback surveys, and summarize what participants are saying.
  • Keep the Academy calendar, rosters and attendance for both paths.
  • Make sure each session is set up: room, technology, printed materials and supplies.
  • Load and maintain courses, assignments and completions in the learning management system.
  • Draft Academy communications: session announcements, pre-work, follow-ups and reminders.
  • Keep every Academy material consistent with Angel's Team Principles and language conventions.
  • Track participation, completion and progress for every participant, and report it to the Academy's leaders.
  • Send and compile session feedback surveys, and summarize what participants are saying.
  • Recommend changes to scheduling, materials or format based on what you see and hear.
  • Keep the Academy budget, vendor orders and invoices organized.
  • Coordinate other People & Culture trainings and events as time allows, such as compliance trainings and new-leader sessions.
