About The Position
This position is responsible for providing support for the seasonal Angel Tree program. Duties include lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading donations, serving as an attendant at Angel Tree sites, interacting with donors, and responding to questions about the donation process. The role also involves assisting with warehouse cleanup, lay out, and setup, as well as pickups from malls or corporations. Additionally, the position requires performing data entry of recipient information.
Requirements
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with co-workers
- Knowledge of The Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree Program
- Ability to follow instructions with limited supervision
- Ability to relate to the general public in a polite, friendly manner
- Ability to abide by required dress code
- Ability to meet attendance requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language
- Valid Driver’s License
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred but not required
