About The Position

Provides support for the seasonal Angel Tree program; lifts, carries, loads and unloads a variety of donations; serves as an attendant at Angel Tree sites; interacts with donors and responds to questions regarding the donation process; assists with the cleanup, lay out, and set up of the warehouse; assists with pick up from the malls or corporations. Performs data entry of recipient’s information.

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with co-workers
• Knowledge of The Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree Program
• Ability to follow instructions with limited supervision
• Ability to relate to the general public in a polite, friendly manner
• Ability to abide by required dress code
• Ability to meet attendance requirements
• Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language
• Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time
• Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing
• Ability to stand in one location for extended periods
• Work requires working in a warehouse environment with exposure to fluctuating temperatures and discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like
• Valid Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma of G.E.D. preferred but not required
