About The Position

We are currently seeking a talented and compassionate Full-time General Anesthesiologist to join our team at UT Health Tyler in Tyler, TX. You'll have the opportunity to work collaboratively alongside a highly productive team of dedicated clinicians, surgeons, and medical professionals. This is a faculty position employed by the University of Texas at Tyler Health Science. Cases include Trauma, Endo, gen, major vascular, ENT, OB/GYN, Neuro, ortho, ophthalmology, plastics & podiatry. There are 9-11 Physicians Per Day. In House 24 HR Call is 1/11. Teaching responsibilities may include participation on service anesthesia residents and medical students and with internal medicine residents and family medicine residents.

Requirements

Board Certified
Eligible for Texas Licensure
Commitment to clinical excellence and working in an academic environment

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care for various cases including Trauma, Endo, gen, major vascular, ENT, OB/GYN, Neuro, ortho, ophthalmology, plastics & podiatry.
Participate in in-house 24-hour call rotation (1/11).
Enjoy a post-call day off.
Fulfill teaching responsibilities, which may include supervising anesthesia residents, medical students, internal medicine residents, and family medicine residents.
