About The Position

Essential Anesthesia Management is hiring a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the anesthesia team at Montrose Regional Health, a 75-bed regional hospital in Montrose, Colorado. The team includes 5 CRNAs and 3 anesthesiologists, with daily staffing of 4 CRNAs and 2 anesthesiologists. The role involves independent practice within a collaborative team model and a case mix that includes GYN, spine, OB, orthopedics, plastics, podiatry, urology, and some thoracic cases. The hospital performs approximately 321 OB cases annually. The position offers annual compensation of $386,568 and a rotating schedule with one full week off every five weeks. Shifts are 8 or 10 hours on weekdays. Primary CRNA call is 1:5 on Monday through Friday and Sunday, with backup call on Saturdays. Out-of-grid hours and call-back time are compensated at $200 per hour. Two full-time positions are available. Montrose is a Western Colorado community near Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, with access to outdoor recreation and nearby Grand Junction and Telluride. Requirements

Ability to practice with autonomy.
Colorado CRNA license, or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care for cases including GYN, spine, OB, orthopedics, plastics, podiatry, urology, and some thoracic procedures.
Practice autonomously within a collaborative team model.
Participate in the rotating schedule and assigned primary or backup call coverage.
