About The Position
Essential Anesthesia Management is hiring a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to work at Montrose Regional Health, a 75-bed regional hospital in Montrose, Colorado. The position offers annual compensation of $386,568 and a rotating schedule with one full week off every five weeks. Shifts are 8 or 10 hours on weekdays. Two full-time positions are available. The team includes five CRNAs and three anesthesiologists, with daily staffing of four CRNAs and two anesthesiologists. The role offers independent practice within a collaborative team model. Cases include GYN, spine, OB, orthopedics, plastics, podiatry, urology, and some thoracic procedures; annual OB volume is 321 cases. Primary CRNA call is 1:5 on Monday through Friday and Sunday, with backup call on Saturdays. Out-of-grid hours and call-back time are compensated at $200 per hour. Montrose is a smaller community in Western Colorado near Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, with access to outdoor recreation and approximately 65 miles from Grand Junction and Telluride. Essential Anesthesia Management is a clinician-founded, clinician-led anesthesia management company and a partnership between YPS and EmergencHealth. It provides department management at more than 125 facilities in six states and has more than 1,400 CRNA and anesthesiologist providers.
