About The Position

PepsiCo Supply Chain is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations in Aztec and Montrose, New Mexico. The role is responsible for safe and efficient operations, finished-product quality, reliable product delivery for the Sales organization, and achievement of operational and financial objectives. The manager develops and motivates frontline hourly and salaried employees, leads change, collaborates across functions, and drives continuous improvement in warehouse processes and systems. The position is primarily on-site and includes a regular presence on the warehouse floor. The schedule is first shift, with flexibility for nights and weekends as needed. The role may involve occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds, operation of forklifts and manufacturing equipment, and travel of less than 5%.

Requirements

Five years of operations, logistics, or supply chain experience preferred.
Two or more years of supervisory experience preferred.
Continuous improvement experience, demonstrated through successful completion of a major improvement project.
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.
Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision-making and work in a results-oriented, challenging environment.
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to achieve results through mentoring others.
Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team-building skills.
Indefinite right to work in the United States.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed; may work off-shift and weekends.
Ability to travel occasionally (less than 5%).

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
Lean Six Sigma certification, TPM, lean manufacturing, or comparable continuous improvement experience.
Forklift certification.
Safe driving record.

Responsibilities

Establish, follow, and enforce workplace safety and health standards and procedures in alignment with legal regulations.
Maintain finished-product quality standards and ensure smooth product delivery for the Sales organization.
Contribute warehouse operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and achieve operational objectives.
Review and prepare action plans to meet productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
Forecast requirements, prepare the annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.
Build people capability through employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for frontline hourly and salaried personnel.
Develop and motivate the team to resolve day-to-day operational issues and achieve short- and long-term performance goals.
Lead change while minimizing the impact on employees.
Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to help resolve operational issues.
Develop warehouse operating systems based on product handling and storage requirements.
Develop processes for receiving, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate check-in and check-out, and shipping.
Lead assigned continuous improvement projects and analyze workflow, staffing, space requirements, and equipment layout to improve warehouse operations.
Troubleshoot receiving and shipping complaints, identify causes, help resolve issues, and prevent recurrence.
