About The Position
Essential Anesthesia Management is seeking an Anesthesiologist to join the team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The position offers a broad case mix in a supervisory model, with a team of six anesthesiologists and typically four on site daily. General anesthesiologists typically supervise four to five rooms per physician. The case mix includes GI, general surgery, orthopedics, OB, urology, radiology, GYN, neurosurgery, vascular, podiatry, plastics, and general trauma. The role assists with OB coverage and does not include cardiac or transplant cases. The position offers $750,000 in 1099 compensation, 10 weeks off, a $30,000 sign-on bonus, and a 1:6 call rotation with the post-call day off. Additional call shifts are available for $1,200 per weekday shift and $2,000 per weekend shift, covering Bailey and Claremore. Paid malpractice insurance with tail and access to group benefits through preferred partners are also offered, along with support from Corporate Clinical Leadership. Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Oklahoma licensure or ability to obtain Oklahoma licensure.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care across the listed case mix, including GI, general surgery, orthopedics, OB, urology, radiology, GYN, neurosurgery, vascular, podiatry, plastics, and general trauma.
- Work in a supervisory model, typically supervising four to five rooms per physician.
- Assist with OB coverage.
- Participate in a 1:6 call rotation; additional weekday and weekend call shifts are optional.
