As Ancillary Product Manager, you will manage day-to-day product and program activities across assigned ancillary initiatives, with an initial emphasis on the over-the-counter (OTC) benefit and flexibility to support other programs as business needs evolve. This role translates product direction and business needs into clear tasks, timelines, deliverables, and follow-through across internal teams and external partners. You will work across a broad set of partners, including Product, Operations, Technology, Legal and Compliance, Finance, Marketing, vendors, and others, to coordinate inputs, drive deliverables, document decisions, manage risks and open questions, and keep stakeholders aligned. Success in this role requires strong organization, attention to detail, sound judgment, and disciplined follow-through in a matrixed, regulated environment. The individual must be able to communicate program status and risks, influence across teams, and turn operational, vendor, regulatory, and member experience needs into clear workplans and repeatable processes while balancing compliance, feasibility, financial outcomes, and member experience.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in product management, program management, strategy, operations, or process improvement within a complex, matrixed environment
  • Experience operating in a highly regulated environment, with demonstrated ability to interpret and operationalize regulatory, compliance, or governance requirements
  • Solid project management discipline, organizational rigor, and follow-through
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional work and influence stakeholders across internal teams and external partners
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, quickly ramp into new problem areas, and drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to drive change, build consensus, and influence decisions across all levels of the organization

  • Experience leveraging AI and automation tools to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve operational efficiency across complex business processes

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day program activities across assigned ancillary initiatives, including benefit setup, operational readiness, materials development, issue tracking, process improvement, and member experience support
  • Evaluate member issues and partner feedback to support consistent, compliant decisions and identify needed policy or procedure updates
  • Help lead ongoing initiatives such as network adequacy, product roadmaps, eligibility, program integrity, financial monitoring, and member experience improvements by tracking progress, risks, and next steps
  • Contribute to plan filing and design activities by gathering market feedback and business inputs, coordinating behind-the-scenes data and setup processes, and assessing how vendor systems, eligibility, or benefit changes may impact implementation, operations, and member experience
  • Implement benefit or program changes by coordinating readiness activities, documenting requirements, communicating impacts, and training internal teams on updated policies, processes, and member experience expectations
  • Manage vendor activities by tracking progress, monitoring performance, supporting business reviews, and coordinating contract-related processes and follow-ups
  • Serve as a program subject matter expert for data and reporting by helping translate program design, operational issues, and benefit changes into clear data and file requirements, reporting impacts, and actionable insights
  • Maintain clear documentation, decision logs, and status updates to communicate program progress, risks, and issues to leaders and stakeholders
