About the position
Tempus is seeking a passionate individual who is dedicated to precision medicine and advancing the healthcare industry. The role involves conducting pathology reviews for both research and clinical specimens, with a focus on specimen adequacy and PD-L1 IHC. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to answer key biological questions and will be based at Tempus' laboratory in Durham. The job requires an MD qualification.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pathology review for both research and clinical specimens
- Perform H&E review for specimen adequacy and PD-L1 IHC
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to answer key biological questions
- Perform specimen review on-site at the laboratory in Durham
- Work shifts on Saturday 3-7 PM, Sunday (flexible scheduling), and weekdays after 4 PM (flexible scheduling)
Requirements
- MD degree
- Experience in conducting pathology review for research and clinical specimens
- Familiarity with H&E review for specimen adequacy and PD-L1 IHC
- Ability to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and weekdays after 4 PM
- Willingness to work on-site at the laboratory in Durham
