About The Position

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings (BAH) is looking for an Analyst (HR) Compensation, Benefits, Job Specialist V for our government client in Arlington, Virginia. This role involves performing a variety of human resource functions, including employment activities such as screening, recruiting, interviewing, and selection. The specialist will conduct research and apply psychological principles related to human behavior and learning in the workplace, developing training methods and materials to improve performance. Statistical analysis and evaluation of data are also key components. The position will also manage compensation and benefits programs, conduct job analysis, and may specialize in areas like position classification and pension programs. Planning, developing, evaluating, improving, and communicating methods for selecting, promoting, compensating, evaluating, and training workers are core duties. Additionally, the role provides administrative and operational support, responds to inquiries, maintains confidentiality, prepares reports, maintains statistical data, manages calendars for Senior Management, coordinates appointments and meetings, and develops/maintains tracking mechanisms and databases, including personnel databases, ensuring data integrity. Research and analysis on assigned topics, trend identification, and recommendation provision are also expected.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or MA/MS
  • Nine (9) years of experience
  • Strong writing, editing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to facilitate team collaboration and coordination
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of management
  • Interact effectively with management officials at all levels of the Bureau of Global Talent Management (GTM) and client bureaus
  • Function efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Deliver excellent customer service consistently
  • Respond promptly to a wide variety of issues
  • Analyze interrelationships between subject areas and customer requirements
  • Recommend viable alternatives to the corresponding HR office and/or client bureau management

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and track customer service survey data.
  • Maintain accurate calendars for Senior Management.
  • Coordinate with relevant Department offices to schedule appointments.
  • Make necessary arrangements for meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Ensure all participants receive timely notifications and required materials.
  • Develop, maintain, and disseminate accurate and up-to-date tracking mechanisms.
  • Monitor and update databases on an ongoing basis.
  • Update and maintain personnel databases.
