About The Position

The Analyst 1 Business Engineering - Enterprise Applications builds and maintains enterprise applications, reports, automations, and digital solutions that reduce manual effort and improve engineering productivity. The role gathers business requirements and translates them into practical solutions, supporting testing, documentation, deployment, and user adoption. It develops and maintains data analysis and reporting solutions with Python, Power BI, Excel, and related tools, and supports SharePoint-based workflows, presentations, and team collaboration while following security, data quality, and governance requirements. The position also uses approved AI tools, including AWS Kiro and Microsoft Copilot, to accelerate development, documentation, analysis, and support activities.

The role is based onsite in Farmington Hills, Michigan, according to an established hybrid schedule and business needs, and may require travel up to 10%.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or four years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• Working knowledge of Python, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Ability to gather information, correlate data, prepare basic reports or proposals, and execute defined work with leader support.
• Basic understanding of application development, testing, documentation, and support practices.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to work across engineering and business teams.
• Ability to work onsite in Farmington Hills, Michigan, based on the established hybrid schedule and business needs.
• Ability to travel up to 10% based on business needs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience developing internal business or engineering applications and automations.
• Exposure to AWS Kiro, Microsoft Copilot, or other approved AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with Power Automate, databases, APIs, source control, or cloud services.
• Interest in continuous improvement, reusable solutions, and user training.
