About The Position

The AMR Zero Waste Corporate Lead is part of Apple’s Global Energy & Sustainability team and helps execute strategies to meet circular materials and zero waste objectives at corporate offices, distribution centers, and data centers across the Americas. The role develops and implements solutions across the real estate portfolio to support goals for zero waste to landfill, increased use of renewable or recycled materials, and reduced carbon emissions. As the geographic lead, the position collaborates extensively with internal and external regional stakeholders to influence building design, development, and operations.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree.
• At least 5 years of experience working in leading sustainability or zero waste programs.
• Familiarity with local and state waste management regulations covering municipal waste, hazardous waste, e-waste, and organic waste.
• Excellent data analytics, communication, and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in environmental management, policy, or sustainability with a waste or materials focus.
• Experience deploying solutions in a variety of facility types, including retail and/or corporate environments.
• Working experience with certification schemes such as TRUE, UL, LEED, and BREEAM.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple projects, priorities, and people concurrently in a fast-paced, high-growth, results-driven environment.
