About The Position

MedEx Ambulance Service is seeking a full-time, experienced Ambulance Accounts Receivable Specialist. Responsibilities include accurate data entry, coding, medical necessity, and follow up of ambulance claims submissions.

Requirements

• Ambulance billing experience
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and MCO compliance
• Knowledge of coding
• Knowledge of billing
• Knowledge of posting
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Good understanding of medical terminology
• Good understanding of commercial insurance guidelines
