About The Position
Universal MH/DD/SAS is seeking an individual or couple to provide Alternative Family Living (AFL) services to a person with an intellectual developmental disability. Services include providing housing and support in the contractor’s home and are provided 24/7. This is a full-time contract position in Morganton. Universal MH/DD/SAS is a statewide, CARF-accredited community human service organization dedicated to helping individuals and families affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse achieve their full potential to live, work, and grow in the community.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Provide housing for an individual with an intellectual developmental disability in the contractor’s home.
- Provide support to the individual through Alternative Family Living services, available 24/7.
