About The Position

HOKALI is hiring six enthusiastic and dedicated Algebra Tutors to provide targeted math support and academic guidance in classroom settings at four middle schools and two high schools. Tutors will work with groups of 15–20 students simultaneously, helping students build algebra skills, academic confidence, and success. The program includes 57 sessions from January 12 through May 27, 2027, following mandatory onsite training in December. Tutors must also complete three hours of online training before sessions begin.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have strong proficiency in middle school and high school Algebra concepts.
• Be able and willing to attend one mandatory onsite training session in December and complete three hours of online training before sessions begin.
• Have a proven ability to manage and engage groups of 15–20 students.
• Have strong interpersonal, communication, and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Algebra instruction and support to groups of 15–20 students simultaneously.
