About The Position

Aisles Online Shoppers select and fulfill online grocery orders with care and precision, choosing high-quality products across all departments, including fresh produce and meat. The role supports customers’ online shopping experience by maintaining product quality and temperature, completing orders accurately and promptly, and providing friendly customer service. It involves working independently in a fast-paced retail store environment while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to frequently stand and walk throughout a shift.
Ability to perform repetitive standing, walking, reaching, and bending associated with order fulfillment, POS transactions, and cleaning and sanitation duties.
Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs throughout the store.
Accurately select online grocery orders, choosing high-quality produce, meat, and other fresh products.
Select, scan, and bag items from all temperature zones.
Maintain products at proper temperatures throughout fulfillment.
Store gathered orders at the proper temperature and retrieve them promptly before customer arrival.
Cart orders to and place them in the customer pickup holding area.
Lift, carry, and load groceries into customer vehicles.
Tender customer orders through the POS system and process credit card payments.
Substitute products when requested by customers or when items are unavailable.
Monitor incoming online orders to ensure prompt, on-time fulfillment.
Answer phones and emails promptly and provide friendly, helpful customer service.
Follow Hy-Vee's dress code, hygiene standards, and department and company guidelines.
Assist with other tasks or special projects as needed.
