About The Position

Aisles Online Shoppers fulfill customers’ online grocery orders by carefully selecting high-quality products across all store departments. They ensure orders are accurate, products are kept at the proper temperature, and completed orders are ready for pickup. The role involves customer service, order fulfillment, payment processing, and assisting with loading groceries into customer vehicles. It is a fast-moving position requiring attention to quality, organization, and timely completion of orders.

Frequently stand and walk throughout a shift.
Perform repetitive standing, walking, reaching, and bending associated with order fulfillment, POS transactions, and cleaning or sanitation duties.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them throughout the store.
Accurately select groceries ordered online, choosing high-quality produce, meat, and other fresh products.
Select, scan, and bag items from all temperature zones.
Maintain products at the proper temperature throughout the fulfillment process.
Store gathered orders at the proper temperature and retrieve them promptly before customer arrival.
Cart orders to the holding area for customer pickup.
Lift, carry, and load groceries into customer vehicles.
Tender customer orders through POS and process credit card payments.
Substitute products when requested by customers or when items are unavailable.
Monitor incoming online orders to support prompt, on-time fulfillment.
Answer phones and emails promptly and provide helpful customer service.
Follow Hy-Vee’s dress code, hygiene standards, and department and company guidelines.
Assist with other tasks or special projects as needed.
