About The Position

The Aisles Online Manager oversees the planning, staffing, and day-to-day operations of a store’s online shopping fulfillment process. The role ensures orders are picked, packed, and delivered on time and to a high standard, leads and develops department employees, resolves customer service issues, and identifies opportunities to improve the customer experience. It is a fast-moving, deadline-driven role in a retail store setting.

Ability to handle confidential sales reports, pricing, profit and loss data, and operational information with discretion.
Frequently stand and walk throughout a shift in sales, food service, or delivery areas.
Perform repetitive standing, walking, reaching, and bending associated with fulfillment, POS transactions, and cleaning and sanitation duties.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service, address customer needs, and take necessary steps to resolve service issues.
Oversee the order fulfillment process and monitor incoming online orders to ensure prompt, on-time fulfillment.
Recruit, train, schedule, and develop department employees.
Educate employees on new policies, procedures, and best practices.
Ensure food safety guidelines are followed and products remain at proper temperatures throughout fulfillment.
Instruct, assign, and review others’ work; coordinate activities and address employee concerns.
Recommend employee discipline.
Answer customer phone calls and emails promptly and provide helpful service.
Follow Hy-Vee’s dress code, hygiene standards, and department and company guidelines.
Assist with other tasks and special projects as needed.
