About The Position

The Aisles Online Manager oversees the planning, staffing, and day-to-day operations of a store’s online shopping fulfillment process. The manager ensures orders are picked, packed, and delivered on time and to a high standard, leads and develops department employees, resolves customer service issues, and identifies ways to improve the customer experience. The role involves working in a fast-paced retail environment with ongoing pressure to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Ability to frequently stand and walk throughout a shift in sales, food service, or delivery areas.
Ability to perform repetitive standing, walking, reaching, and bending associated with order fulfillment, POS transactions, and cleaning and sanitation duties.

Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service, greet customers, address their needs, and resolve service issues.
Oversee the order fulfillment process and monitor incoming online orders to ensure prompt, on-time fulfillment.
Recruit, train, schedule, and develop department employees.
Educate employees about new policies, procedures, and best practices.
Ensure food safety guidelines are followed and products are kept at proper temperatures during fulfillment.
Instruct, assign, and review the work of others; coordinate activities and address employee concerns.
Recommend employee discipline.
Answer customer phone calls and emails promptly and provide friendly, helpful service.
Follow dress code, hygiene standards, and department and company guidelines.
Assist with other tasks or special projects as needed.
