About The Position

The Aisles Online Clerk selects, bags, and organizes online grocery orders accurately and carefully, ensuring items are fresh, properly stored, and ready for customer pickup. The role involves providing friendly customer service, fulfilling orders across temperature zones, processing payments, and helping deliver a seamless pickup experience. This is a fast-paced position requiring organization, dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs in the store.
Select, scan, and bag items from all temperature zones accurately and efficiently.
Tender customer orders through POS and process credit card payments.
Store gathered orders at the proper temperature and retrieve them promptly before customer arrival.
Maintain proper product temperatures throughout the fulfillment process.
Cart orders to the holding area for customer pickup.
Load groceries into customer vehicles as needed.
Monitor incoming online orders to ensure prompt, on-time fulfillment.
Substitute products at customer request or when items are unavailable.
Answer the phone promptly and provide friendly, helpful service to callers.
Follow Hy-Vee's dress code, hygiene standards, and department and company guidelines.
Assist with other tasks or special projects as needed.
