As an Airport Security Officer: Part Time, Friday/Saturday in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a government airport location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will communicate clearly, document observations using computer or tablet tools, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
1+ years of driving experience

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, unattended property, and/or potential hazards, and report observations according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate airport personnel and public service agencies as directed.
Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications with clear and accurate information.
