Requirements

Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
18+ years of age
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and/or government representatives by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, public access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned airport property; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the location.
Monitor assigned areas for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations, and report observations according to established procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control, crowd management, traffic direction, and emergency response as directed.
Document patrols, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors, airport personnel, and/or responding authorities.
